Welcome to DogPaws!
I believe that dogs are sentient individuals who have their own lives, emotions and preferences. They should feel safe and secure, and be able to act like a dog and not get in trouble for being joyful.
I treat all dogs with respect and sensitivity to their needs - whether they want to run around in the yard chasing a ball or have quiet time at my feet. I’ve loved dogs all of my life, and I am dedicated to giving them the kind of day they deserve.
My home is completely dog-friendly and dogs are allowed throughout the house - including on the furniture. There is access to a fenced yard via a ramp from the large deck area, which is complete with cushioned lounge furniture.
Weather permitting, walks on nearby trails are often incorporated into the day, as is catch and fetch, dog-play, cozy naps, DOGTV and snuggle time.
Treats, dogs beds, toys and non-rawhide bones are always available throughout the day.
You can be certain your dog will leave a happy pup!

“Ann is not just a dog-sitter. She is someone who understands every dog is different, and gives special attention to meet their needs and make sure they are loved. She spent extra time to sooth our nervous rescue dog, Cleo, and bring her out of her shell until she was comfortable running around playing with the other sweet dogs at Ann’s home. Her many updates gave us peace of mind that our dog was happy and well-cared for during our time away. We will definitely be back!” -Christina D.
Ann was our first experience and it could not have gone better. She watched our 11.5 year old Shiba Inu as we attended a baking class at King Arthur and Troy had a great time with her around her home. Our dog is less comfortable with energetic dogs and Ann was really great about accommodating that and giving him his own space, which we really appreciate. She was great about sending updates and clearly loves dogs. We knew that Troy would be grand after we received a photo of him doing zoomies in her living room.” -Brendan A.
“Ann was amazing - 5 star plus! She was very easy to communicate with and took amazing care of my dog Lilly! It was very evident that she truly loves dogs! Would highly recommend. “ -Daniel B.
“Ann was absolutely great with my boy Snoopy! He is a high energy Cattledog who has spent very little time away from me for the past 9 years. I was nervous about boarding him, but Ann was absolutely amazing with him. He cozied up to her immediately and the pictures I got of him playing and having fun made me feel much better about being away from him. He got lots of attention and frisbee play time and I’m very thankful that Ann was so good with him. Highly recommend!!!” -Tristan S.
“Ann and I hit it off immediately as did my dog Jonus. She has a super welcoming home that is totally geared towards dogs. My dog had a blast and was absolutely exhausted from all the fun he had while staying with Ann. We would book with her again in a heartbeat. 5+ stars!!!” -Bobby S.
“There is no other way to say it….. Ann is a dog whisperer. She loves dogs and my puppy was absolutely in heaven. The other dogs were friendly and inviting. Ann just rolls with whatever you throw her way.” -Lori S.
“Ann was wonderful with our 11m old English Setter pup! We did 2 days of doggy daycare with her while our family went skiing at Loon. Ann was flexible, accommodating, and gave our boy so much love. She sent us photo and video updates during the day and Harbor was excited to go back for a second day. He was very comfortable with Ann and her sweet dog Izzie. We were so glad to have found her and will definitely use her services again. She treated our dog like her own and could not have asked for better care!” -Kim C.
“We are beyond grateful to have found Ann! She took care of our two dogs as if they were her own and truly loved them while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. We will absolutely have Ann watch our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and loving!” -Nicole M.
